Press Release: Hope House Raises Minimum Wage to $15 per Hour for All Employees
Beginning May 2019, all employees will earn a minimum of $15.00 per hour. As outlined in our three-year strategic plan, “we are committed to establish and implement a livable wage and employee benefit strategy which strengthens Hope House to be an employer of choice in the HIV and disability sector,” says Tom DeGree, Board Chair.
In addition to a livable wage of $15.00, all full-time employees will continue to be offered a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Medical, dental, prescription drug and vision coverage.
- Company-paid life insurance.
- A generous PTO policy for both full-time and part-time employees.
- Employees also have the opportunity to purchase long and short-term disability, a FSA plan, accident insurance and whole or term life insurance.
In addition to our comprehensive wage and benefit package, Hope House is committed to providing ongoing capacity building for all employees to ensure that staff have the critical knowledge and skills to serve people living and aging with HIV.
