Hope House’s 25th Anniversary Celebration

We had an amazing event celebrating our 25th Anniversary!

The evening kicked off with a cocktail party hosted by our amazing sponsors The Zephyr Theater, Gilead Sciences and the Lakeview Hospital Foundation. The program kicked off announcing the Hope House Hero award! The Hope House Hero award is given to an individual, a couple or a group of people have made a significant contribution to Hope House as an organization and to the over 87 individuals who have called Hope House home throughout the last 25 years. This year it was our pleasure to present the Hope House Hero award to Teresa and Casey vanderBent founders at Hope House. Just over 27 years ago, Teresa and Casey had a calling and a vision to create a home to serve people living and at time dying of AIDS. It is through there compassion for others, there trust in their higher power and the collaboration of the Stillwater community, both civic and ecumenical that Hope House was created! After honoring our past, we introduced the future to our guest through a quick review of our Strategic Plan and future programming to support people aging with HIV.
