Current position and start date:
My current position with Hope House is Lead Care Partner and I started on May 1st, 2019.
Tell us about your background (education/last job and position).
I graduated from White Bear Lake High School. My last job was working as a Staffing Coordinator for Good Samaritan Society- Stillwater.
What inspired you to apply to work at Hope House?
I knew I wanted to stay in the health care setting but was looking for a unique way to make a difference in that field. When I learned more about the environment of Hope House I knew I’d be able to find a new way to help people here.
In what ways do you foresee your new role making significant contributions to Hope House?
I just hope that my role can help to educate others on what living with HIV and AIDS truly looks like and break apart myths surrounding the topic. I also hope to help the residents to live with dignity and respect while still getting any cares necessary to live their best life.
What is interesting about you that you would like others to know? (Do you have animals/children/married/spouses’ name/ hobbies/ educational aspirations/ favorite food)
I grew up in White Bear Lake where I currently live with my 2 fur babies Kimmy and Darla. My plan is to continue my education and finish my business degree. My favorite food is anything Pasta!
